How it works

Six steps from submitting an account to resolution — with honest expectations at every stage.

How an account moves through California Recoveries A four-stage flow: you submit the account, we review the file, documented outreach begins, and you receive updates until resolution. 1 Submit 2 Review 3 Outreach 4 Report Documented communication at every stage · updates back to you

  1. You submit the account

Use the contact form to send the debtor's business details, the balance, the invoice or contract, and a short history of your collection attempts. Please avoid sensitive account numbers or government ID numbers.

Details: What we need: debtor business name, balance and aging, copies of supporting documents, and your previous follow-up attempts.

  2. We review the file

Our team checks that the account fits our commercial scope, that the documentation supports the balance, and whether anything is actively disputed.

Details: If information is missing, we tell you exactly what to send. If the account is outside our scope, we say so before any work begins.

  3. Scope is confirmed with you

Before work starts, you know what happens next, what communication looks like, and how updates will reach you.

Details: This is also the point where any questions about the account are settled, so expectations are aligned on both sides.

  4. Outreach begins

We contact the debtor, confirm the account, and work toward payment or a written payment arrangement.

Details: Communication is documented, so there is a record of what was said, when, and what was agreed.

  5. You receive updates

As the account moves through each stage, you get updates on activity and outcomes — enough to know where things stand without chasing us for information.

Details: If the debtor raises a dispute, you will hear about it with the supporting context.

  6. Resolution or next-step decision

The account may resolve through payment or an arrangement, or it may reach a point where you decide on further steps based on what we report.

Details: When funds are recovered, they are remitted to you according to your agreement. If an account closes without recovery, you receive a clear summary of the outcome.
